Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 telah resmi dirilis di Plaza Senayan Jakarta. Harga tablet Galaxy Tab 8.9 sebesar Rp.5,499 juta sedangkan untuk yang mempunyai kartu kredit BCA mendapatkan harga promosi hanya sebesar Rp.4.99 juta saja.
Pada hari pertama peluncuran tablet ini pengunjung tidak seramai perilisan Galaxy SII dan Galaxy Tab 10.1 yang telah dilakukan beberapa waktu yang lalu. Produk Galaxy Tab 8.9 ini sudah terjual 250 buah sampai pukul 11.30.
